creamy butter syrup

1 cube butter (it has to be butter)
1 c sugar
1/2 c cream
few dashes of nutmeg
1/2-1 tsp vanilla

melt butter and then add the rest of the ingredients and  stir until the sugar has dissolved and voila, you have the best syrup ever!
